Happy Thursday

Today is a good day. Its just a ho-hum thursday, but its that every-once-in-a-while kind that just melts my heart for some reason. From the weather (it was the freshest, angel-breathest, most magical of breezy autumn days), to school, to work, to family, to dreams, to friends, to blogs. I guess I'm just plain happy to be alive today. In honor of that, here's some ho-hum things:

1. Blast from the past. (Good idea sir.)

2. I miss Ojai. I am rather in love with my hometown. A, B, C! My little feathery soul longs to go run around in these mountains. Can it get more magical? (the correct answer is no, certainly not.) I miss my cozy little work there too.

3. This baby girl! I got to spend last weekend in Sandy-Eggo with my cutest baby cousin in the world and it was medicine for the soul.

I decided today that musicians are nothing more than really honest people.

Gots to go herrree. I think I am falling in love with this city even though I know hardly anything about it. Maybe one day San Francisco.

Divine Romance

God moves in still slow beautiful strides. When He slows down my frantic American heart to see, experience, and hope at his pace... that's when faith blooms in me.

I love you Abba. Thank you for pursuing me just as sweetly, steadily, and powerfully as the day you first stepped in and changed everything. You chase after my heart on the tuesdays, the sick days, the busy days, the rebellious days, the mornings-afternoons-evenings, the saturdays, and you keep healing me in ways I didn't know I needed.

Belonging to you is the best thing that has ever happened to me.
