Just found this lovely essence-of-summer picture that Amanda Lee took on our "goodbye summer" day.
This day was so wonderful. I am quite eager for summer to return from its southern-hemisphere journey, only i don't wish its presence too soon ... because the sooner it comes, the sooner it goes.

Dear Christians of Ventura,
I know you don't read this blog, but I just want to let you know that we are a privileged people to live in this time and place. We are privileged to undeservedly be the hands and feet of Jesus here. I just want to let you know that your prayers are being answered, and your hard labor is not in vein. The gospel is exploding here. People are coming to Christ and Gods people are everywhere sharing his love. I cant go anywhere without running into a Christian who blesses me deeply. God is moving powerfully here. Keep giving God your everything. Walk by faith. With a thankful and blessed heart, continue to knock, seek and ask. God is answering. He is in our midst. He is powerful and He is love. Seek him Christian. Seek him, oh my soul. Praise him Christian. Praise him, oh my soul.
To those in different areas, or to those here who aren't seeing the same display of grace and power I am,
