A Prayer in Spring

In honor of national poetry month, pretty words in general, spring, and my heart today... here is a stanza from a poem by Robert Frost.

"Oh, give us pleasure in the flowers today;
And give us not to think so far away
As the uncertain harvest; keep us here
All simply in the springing of the year."

  1. I LOVE THAT A LOT. i also love that the more you read a poem, the more you begin to understand it.

  2. agreed. i like how everything is that way.. like the more you spend time with something.. the more you like it and know it and yahhasyuhblah blha blah.

    p.s. we should make a book (along with our 10000 other books) of all of our fav confirmation words! and sell it..like one of those weird back of the toilet books. or we can get a bunch of hamsters and name them all verification words... like hydersim(love that one), codskin, etc.
