3.    Give thanks for the refining effect of evil when it comes against you

4.    Hate evil

5.    Pray for escape from evil

6.    Expose evil

7.    Overcome evil with good

8.    Resist evil

4 things you should never do with evil:

1.      Despair that evil is out of Gods control

2.      Give in to the sense that because of random evil, life is absurd and meaningless

3.      Yield to the thought that God sins or unjust or is unrighteous in how he governs the world

4.      Never doubt that God is totally for you in Christ.
